Non-Partnered Carrier

I have sent a shipment going to AWD using a non-partnered carrier and had an appointment scheduled for 10:00am, and now Amazon cancelled the appointment and moved it to the following day. Now the carrier we used are requesting more money for the extra day layover. Has this happened to anyone else? How do I go about this? Should Amazon have to pay for this as it was on their end of having to reschedule?

Unfortunately, this is part of the risk of using a non partnered carrier. Amazon employees are typically overworked and appointments are at risk of being rescheduled. If it happens with a partnered carrier you are not charged.
