Amazon's Document Review Process Is Broken – Sellers Beware!

Hey fellow sellers/moderators

I wanted to share my frustrating experience with Amazon's document review process to see if anyone else has been through something similar.

We’ve been dealing with account issues for weeks now, and despite submitting every document they requested (all organized and 100% legitimate), we’re stuck in limbo. Our ability to sell certain ASIN's has been frozen, and we’ve even received threats that our inventory could be disposed of or destroyed.

Here’s the kicker:

Our supply chain is fully traceable back to the manufacturer.

We’ve gone out of our way to organize everything clearly to make their job easier.

The lack of specificity in their requests is maddening—they just keep asking for "more documentation" without explaining what’s missing.

It honestly feels like no one is even looking at our submissions, or worse, that some automated system is rejecting things without rhyme or reason.

If you’re in a similar situation, my advice is to keep pushing for a human review and document everything. This process has been a nightmare, and I can’t help but feel like Amazon needs to address the way they handle these cases.

Anyone else experiencing this?

OP: "Our supply chain is fully traceable back to the manufacturer."

There is your problem. You are not buying wholesale from the manufacturer; you are buying from a questionable secondary distributor.

Why don't you have a Retailer's Credit Account with the manufacturer? All Amazon wants to see is that invoice.

As far as an interview it concerned, use caution it you have one. While sellers think the interview is to help them, and it is presented in that light, there is another reason at hand. Since Amazon already has a seller's questionable inventory in an FBA center, in the interview they will ask many questions and documentation as to where it was purchased. While you sit there defending yourself, Amazon is recording the interview to incriminate yourself. They sent the interview to federal agents who are looking for sellers of bogus products.

Just today on these threads, another seller can't figure out how all of the sudden he is now involved in a Federal Case.
