I am in the same boat, the hijacker changes brands like socks on my listings, brand registry somehow curbs it, I am brand registered on some brands I created and not on others. What you are asking, I believe, is called "brand gating" and as far as I know, there is no clear way to achieve this, unless you are a famous brand ... or you deploy your lawyer who would duke it out with Amazon and achieve brand gating based on repeat abuse of your asins. I am seeing my brands changed right now by the same hijacker who controls many black hat brands... I even got a monitoring service that alerts me when anything on my listing changed, so I know pretty much immediately when those brand hackers attack my listings...

I have that brand in the brand registry, it does not stop the hijackers from overwriting it to black hat brand using Vendor Central tools.

So Brand Gating may not help anyways, I am just guessing here from the fact that I see major brands being overwritten by these black hat brand hijackers, like for example:

The CRAFTSMAN SEARS brand hijacked by Dkocva

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BUWOST6

or this ANGEL SOFT toilet paper hijacked by XGATML and INFITONER black hat hijackers

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KN1F2C9

HUSKY Brand hijacked by Dkocva

https://www.amazon.com/ft-Indoor-Outdoor-Extension-Cord/dp/B00P4TCDTS

Here you can see the same ASIN on Amazon Canada, where the brand is still HUSKY, leading to the official Husky Store - just change the web address in the above listing from dot com to dot ca

These above hijacker brands overwrote my asin brands as well, sigh.

The only thing I thing that will prevent this Brand Hijacking is if Amazon Decides to Close the Black Hat Loophole which allows Vendor Central Accounts overwrite any brand on any asins. That is how the brand hijackers accomplish it.

Hello @Seller_B3sc00hwQZH3B,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I apologize for the amount of time between your post and this response. You can open a case with Brand Registry Support and/or Seller Support. Brand Registry will review your input to make decisions regarding additional listing qualifications, the type of requirements, and whether or not to change those requirements. Please also know that Amazon considers a brand's enforcement of distribution policies and rules to be a matter between the sellers and the brand, so the more specific you can be on why the listing requirements should change, the better.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Dougal
