Account Deactivation due tax info mismatch with IRS but I am registered in Canada

Hi,

1. Can anyone please help me on my issue with the notice of Account Deactivation I received due to Tax Information mismatch with IRS information but my business is registered in Canada?

2. I always get rejected without any reason when I ungating products. Could it be due to issue 1 where it sees my business is in USA?

My business is registered in Ontario and all information I have input in Seller Central when I registered is Canadian address. I am a resident of Canada too. I have completed the Identity Verification where I entered all my address and supporting documents and it was all approved.

It is just weird now that I am getting that notice of Deactivation due to IRS info mismatch. I have had a call with one of Seller support and he said it must be a mistake from amazon that I have received that message so he will escalate the issue but it has been more than a week now and have not received a response.

Moreover, the seller support said not to apply to add any product because I may get rejected again because of this. He reviewed that invoice I sent for ungating and he said all necessary information are there so it could be due to this tax info issue.

Can any one please help me on how to fix this issue? Maybe I can update something on profile that I missed or have an error when I registered? I am new in Amazon and I wanted to proceed with ungating also because I have the products with me already. Thank you in advance for all who could help.

Just additional information:

The support person helped me on updating the Tax information on Account Info and there we put the detail that I am a non US person but still I have not received any feedback from them if the issue has been fixed. Ticket is open 17936106141
