Canadian based but designated as US Store by Amazon

We are Canadian based - we are incorported in Canada our warehouse is in Canada 95% of our business is transacted in Canada and all address's are Canadian - However Amazon has designated us as a US store

Seller support says they cannot help us as they do not know why the designation is such, nor can they change it.

The big issue with this designation is that we cannot provide a Canadian return address for automatic unfillable item returns, so everything is disposed of whether we like it or not. Unless we manually keep an eye on unfulfillbles and mange this process manually which defeats the whole process.

Has anyone had the same issues and do you have a solution on how to get the designation changed

FBA USA requires a USA address (amazon will not return across borders)
