customer claims never received package
Customer purchases $600 worth of products. Shipping company has confirmation the package was delivered into the mail box with dedicated key. Customer claims the package wasn't there. Amazon gave customer full refund and debited my account. Shipping company won't honor as they did nothing wrong!
Turns out there are some scam people out there taking advantage of Amazon's policy. Unfortunately being an Amazon seller doesn't mean Amazon is on your side.

Did you get a signature confirmation? It is Amazon policy to get a signature confirmation if you want to avoid paying out an A to Z claim.

High value product should always have signature confirmation and I would suggest it be "Adult signature required" service if available. High value items are susceptible to A2Z claims as Amazon does nothing to protect the 3P sellers. Ironic how the policy only applies to 3P sellers, not Amazon shipments, its a double standard.

Another double standard. If a shipper has delivered a parcel and has a photo proving this point. Amazon accepts that if amazon shipped it. BUT not if a 3P seller arranged shipment. Even if same company is used. Amazon will tell you to read the refund and shipping data, never will they reply to: Why the rules are different for us and not them. Get signatures go the extra mile and hopefully Amazon will support you. Otherwise you will be held accountable.
