Manage Listings; Delete Variations, what gets deleted?

I'm managing Inventory. I had a single listing, and added variations to it. Not sure how, but one of the child variants somehow assumed all the characteristics of the Parent, in terms of description, model number, and so on.

So, I want to make the variation listing go away. I thought to edit it, and just Delete all the child(ren), but it won't stick. Keep getting stuck on Offers, they keep disappearing. Instead I figured I should just delete the listing, but I'm afraid all the variations will disappear as individual listings, too.

Also, is there any way to back up listings before making some big change to them? Like "revert" your changes? I suspect not, but cant hurt to ask!

Hello there @Seller_k2e2eqB7kBKBy

My name is CR here. I wanted to reach out to see if you have already opened a case up with Seller Support for this issue?

They have additional tools and visibility to help look into your ASIN and provide further guidance here.

If you have opened one already, feel free to provide that below and I'd be happy to review your issue in more detail there and read through any correspondence provided to this point.
