NPN Numbers for Supplements not being enforced for sellers?
We are new Canadian sellers about to enter the market but we see the Amazon Canada marketplace is currently saturated with Chinese private labelled bottles that do not have NPN numbers listed or shown at all on the labels - making these illegal products to sell within Canada. However, some of these product listings are selling hundreds of bottles per month.
I cannot seem to get any assistance from anyone on how to get these sellers removed from our marketplace so that those of us who are getting the proper compliance and meeting regulations can benefit. I just get generic answers from the Seller Help lines. Has anyone else struggled with this? What else can we do to up the enforcement?

Hello @Seller_Zn8SkkvatNzKT,
Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention regarding products being sold without proper NPN (Natural Product Numbers) compliance in Amazon.ca.
To report listings that you believe violate Health Canada regulations or Amazon's policies:
- Use the "Report a violation" link found on the product detail page
- Select "Regulatory Compliance" as the violation type
- Provide specific details about the compliance issue (missing NPN numbers in this case)
Additionally, you can:
- Report violations directly to Health Canada through their website
- Document specific ASINs that you believe are non-compliant
- Include clear explanations of which regulations are being violated
Please note that while we appreciate your vigilance in maintaining marketplace standards, we cannot discuss specific actions taken against other sellers or share details about investigation outcomes.
For your own listings, continue to maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, including proper NPN registration and labeling requirements. This helps ensure a fair and trustworthy marketplace for all participants.
I hope this information helps provide some direction. Let us know if you have any other questions!
