We have charged your credit card for $5238.59 in an attempt to settle your Amazon seller account balance. - Letter from Amazon
Hi all,
Please let me know if anyone had a situation like this before. We have been on Amazon since 2016 and I've got this kind of email:
"Greetings from Amazon Services.
We have charged your credit card for $5238.59 in an attempt to settle your Amazon seller account balance.
Note that the amount charged to your credit card may be less than the total amount you owe due to a credit limit imposed by your bank. If that is the case, we will continue to charge your card as often as every 24 hours until the remaining balance in your Amazon seller account is paid in full."
I've checked my payment reports immediately. No disbursement. I opened the case with Amazon, no answer yet.
I've contacted Seller Support... as always, it is useless!.
I asked What does it mean " in an attempt to settle your Amazon seller account balance"??? was that just an attempt or money from my account actually were stollen? Again I do not see any disbursement. The payment information is mine ( bank name, business name and account are correct)
however Amazon is charging my credit card for $5238.59.
Please let me know if anyone had this kind of situation before.

There would be no disbursement if they charged your credit card. And yes, they are charging your credit card for an unpaid balance.

anyone can help me to understand what is this for?
what does it mean: "We have charged your credit card for $5238.59 in an attempt to settle your Amazon seller account balance."
What balance? for what will anyone help me to understand? We have WAY MORE on our account than $5238.59. Why you charge the credit card?
