Listing requirements (English/French) bilingual issue

Hi Everyone,

I'm facing some challenges with a recent Amazon policy update. We sell on the Amazon.ca marketplace, where regulations require that all listings for food and certain other categories must be bilingual. This means the product packaging shown in listing images must include both English and French.

While we can translate the images to meet this requirement and upload to product detail page, we’re not the creators of the listings. As a result, our changes may not reflect on the detail page, and the listing could still be at risk of removal. This creates a bit of a loop where we may not have a direct way to resolve the issue.

We got an email that close to 40 of our asins are in the risk of being removed. If we upload the images after translating and they are not reflected on the detail page due to the fact we dont control all these listings directly, will the asin be in compliance or be removed?

Has anyone dealt with this before? What would be the best approach to ensure compliance?

Thanks in advance for your insights!

Hello, I'm currently dealing with a similar issue. Many of my products (around 300 ASINs) are from the US, Mexico, and Philippines, and I need to offer French packaging for Canadian customers. I discovered that I can use Google Images and translation tools to translate the packaging text into French. Could you please share your experience on how you handled sending items to Amazon warehouses? Specifically, did you need to apply French labels or stickers to each product? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
