Help Needed: Sole Proprietor Verification Failed on Amazon

Hello,

I am new to amazon and I’m trying to verify my Amazon.ca seller account as a sole proprietor operating under my full legal name. Since I don’t have a registered business or certificate of incorporation, I submitted the following documents as per Amazon’s guidelines:

A Self-Attestation Letter confirming 100% ownership, sole control, and my date of birth.

A signed and dated Letter of Authorization.

A valid government-issued ID matching my account details.

A recent utility bill as proof of address.

Despite this, my verification failed with a notice stating the information couldn’t be verified.

I’m looking for advice on:

Which documents are typically rejected and for what reasons?

Are there specific formats or details Amazon expects that might be missing from these documents?

What additional or alternative documentation can I provide to satisfy Amazon’s verification requirements for a sole proprietorship under a personal legal name?

Any tips from those who’ve successfully resolved similar issues?

I have updated my store name and I am still seeing old name

Thank you for your help!

Here are a few missing items that may need to be addressed: After the second attempt they did accept my documents. Good luck.

Organizational Chart

*Must include the company stamp/ owner stamp - stamp must include city and province.

*Must be dated within the last 3 months

*Must clearly state that you are a Natural Person

*Please print, sign, and date the chart at the bottom

Example:

Mary Jane

(Natural Person)

Date of Birth: 02/14/1984

Include:

Provincial Business Documentation

Please confirm whether you have applied for the necessary business documents within your province and include a copy if available.
