Everyone talks about not selling to friends or family because of reviews but no one talks about selling without reviews.

You risk getting your account shut down. When a purchase is made, Amazon cannot know if that person is going to do a review or not. Thus the "rule." People have sold to friends, some have gotten punished with accounts shut downs, some have not. Those friends and family can buy from you directly, can they not?
