Ship five identical boxes to create shipments with no inbound fee multiple SKUs

So with the new requirement in having to send 5 identical cartons. Say I would like to send in 2 different SKUs into FBA, SKU: red (5 cartons) and SKU: green (1 carton). Amazon is requesting we send the 5 cartons of SKU red to 5 different FCs but SKU: green is only going to one FC. Will inbound placement fees be charged on the the whole workflow, the shipment containing inventory from both SKUs, or just the inventory from SKU: green that was not able to be split up and optimized?

Best way is to create a shipment in the send to Amazon workflow so you can see how this works now. Because you have 5 cartons of red and 1 carton of green your shipment will not qualify for optimized shipments. You will now need 5 boxes of red with the same quantity in each box and 5 boxes of green with the same quantity in each box. If the shipment is not eligible for optimized shipments it will be greyed out and you will be forced to choose a plan with placement fees.

Hi @Seller_OCncHrCipNn7g,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to try to help with this.

To qualify for the Amazon-optimized inbound option with no inbound fee, your shipments must include at least five identical cartons or pallets per item. Each carton or pallet must contain the same quantity per item and the same item mix.

I have attached a picture with examples below.
