Listed generic product to brand registry

hello,

I was wondering if I can transfer my listed generic product to a brand registry. If not, then how can I transfer review from that listed generic to the new brand registry listed.

I've recently obtained my brand registry and I want to convert my generic product to a brand registry. It already have sales and reviews. I don't want to lose those reviews

Thank you in advance

Unfortunately, you can't modify your Generic listing to your new brand name.

1- You will need to create a new ASIN that's connected to your new brand name and have new UPC or FNSKU labels.

2- If you have FBA inventory of the Generic ASIN, create a removal order of your FBA inventory to be returned to you. These will be returned to you in several shipments coming from the different FC warehouses taking several weeks.

3- Relabel your inventory with the new UPC or FNSKU labels.

4- Resend to FBA.

And yes, you will lose any reviews that were attached to the Generic ASIN.

Not what you want to hear, but we've all been through it.

Hello there @Seller_cCgJ9igaO4fJE,

Generic Products can only be listed as Generic if they have no Brand Markings and are truly generic as indicated by the Generic Product Policy. If you have changed the product to reflect your Brand Registry Brand you will need to create a brand new ASIN (with a new UPC) as indicated by @Seller_Z94U2smN0QDFk.

Whenever a product is materially different in any way, you should create a new ASIN and listing for the product. You will not be able to retain the product reviews or sales history as the product is no longer materially the same if it previously was generic and now reflects a brand name. Thank you for your understanding.
