New Drop-Shipper Scam
I received two identical messages from a buyer today, both said...
Hello, I bought 'NAME OF PRODUCT HERE from your shop before. But the phone where the order was placed is not with me because of a business trip.Could you please lookup my order and tell me the tracking number? (My families said the item hasn't arrived). Here's my adress[colon]ADDRESS HERE.I have recorded my order number[colon]ORDER NUMBER HERE.Hope for your reply! Thanks
Both message were identical down to the misspelling of the word adress and no spaces between sentences.
The second order is not even from my store. I assume that this is someone who will try to get a refund. I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this.

Since they have asked for the tracking number, you should respond with that. Ignore the rest of the message.
But for the one that isn't even connected to an order -- just mark as no response needed.

Hi @Seller_0xdtD36hDLHBC
I have to agree with the other sellers who responded to your post. Mark them as no response or simply send the tracking number. If you run into trouble later, please post back and I will see if there is anything I can do to assist.

Ugh! I have received several more of this exact message lately and I realized something that I totally missed on the first batch. The email questioning the delivery is from a TOTALLY different Amazon account than the order was placed.
Here is my guess. The scammers have realized that if they message from their buyer account that Amazon questioning every single order that they placed, Amazon may flag their buyer account. But by messaging from a separate account, they may get a seller who will refund no matter what.
@SEAmodwhat I am doing now is sending this response...
Dear BUYER,
I have checked and I do not see ANY orders from the Amazon account that you contacted us from. I cannot release personal information like tracking information for orders from a different Amazon account. Please contact us from the account where your order was placed for further assistance.
Thank you for your interest in our products.

Here are two of the many A-z claims for this particular item. Notice nearly exact same language. "loyalty customer".

Here are the steps followed by each of the drop/ship scammers.
1) Order placed
2) Buyer name matches name on send to address
3) Someone contacts us from a DIFFERENT Amazon account requesting status of the order using an order number (but omitting dashes).
4) After we respond that we cannot provide, information about an order to a third party, A-z claim is filed.
Look at this exact same language. Cut/paste. You'd think that Amazon could program a bot to have these flagged. The pattern is so unmistakable.
I know that I am not out any money on these, I just hate thieves and would like Amazon to crack down on them rather than stupid bots shutting down hundreds of my listing every month.
