I dont get it why am I getting so many returns with damaged product and sometimes missing parts.

So I really want to understand how is amazon allowing customers to return products that were used already and sometimes even with missing parts. I sell a product as FBA where it comes with a free gift to the customer. I usually get amazon to send all the return items back to my address. And I totally get it when amazon says they can not sell a product cause the customer opened the package, tried the product and did not like it. But what I do not understand is that most of the returns I get back to me is missing parts of the actual product, and also the free gift I give to the customer is also gone from the package. How is that possible? Is that normal? I wish Amazon had a better way to deal with those returns as they all cost money and it is totally against the return policy.

I am sorry to hear about the number of returns being faced, and wanted to make sure you had our FBA Reimbursement policy for Customer Returns Claims handy, in addition to the FBA Returns policy, as you may be able to submit a claim for such situations.

Further, here is our information on removing inventory from a Fulfillment Center in case such an action becomes necessary.
