Capacity adjustment for dangerous goods in Canada Email
So, we all got that email about the capacity adjustment for DG and thought we were getting our original storage limits back. WRONG!!
Limits decreased again. And this is two weeks after I got an email from Amazon inviting me to join the Hazmat program—(I've been part of it for over two years!) so I've come to conclusion that amazon is cutting storage for current Hazmat sellers to make room for new ones.
I can't make it make sense —they're limiting established sellers with products that are doing well while bringing in new sellers to an already overcrowded program that can't handle its current sellers.

Hey @Seller_YsDo15Ne92jlo,
Yeah I am aware of the current situation with the DG storage limits since February of this year, I actually got involved with a lot of sellers 6 months ago through the following post:
Hazmat limit reduced to 0 without a warning and now facing overage fees for instock inventory
Last I spoke to them, you could try and request a limit increase via our seller support department but due to my knowledge there is a waitlist of sellers with similar requests under the CA marketplace.
Do please try to request an increase, you can keep me on the loop with the answer they provided you, setting the correct expectation, they might also denied any escalation from my end but more than willing to assist you here.

If you're an advertiser impacted by the recent inventory reduction, it's crucial to take immediate action: pause your campaigns. Continuing to run ads for low inventory items during this period could mean paying for impressions that typically don't convert on the spot due to stock shortages.
Here are a few critical points to consider:
Ongoing Problem:
Unfortunately, this issue isn't new, nor is it likely to improve anytime soon. There are sellers on various threads who have been dealing with this problem for over a year now, including our very own account. The lack of resolution suggests that we, as sellers, need to be prepared for continued challenges in managing our inventory and ASIN performance.
Don't Rely on Improving Sell-Through Rates:
The reduction in available storage space is so significant that even optimizing your sell-through won't create enough space to replenish your inventory effectively. As sellers, we have little control over this situation.
Recurring Timing Issues:
It's worth noting that this reduction seems to consistently occur right as sellers are gearing up for the post-summer holiday season ramp-up. This timing coincidentally aligns with an increase in Amazon's own inventory availability, raising concerns about the fairness of this practice.
Impact on ASIN Performance:
Despite potential waivers for overage and low-stock fees, the inability to replenish inventory will severely impact your ASIN's performance. When the holiday season arrives, your ASIN's visibility and availability may suffer compared to Amazon's well-stocked alternatives.
Amazon's Advantage:
With many third-party ASINs out of stock, Amazon faces little to no competition in promoting their own products or alternatives. This can lead to significant shifts in market dynamics, favoring Amazon's offerings over those of independent sellers.
Request for Advice:
Given the current landscape, I'm eager to hear strategies from fellow sellers on mitigating the losses resulting from this situation. How are you planning to manage the impact on your ASINs during this challenging period? Any advice on maintaining sales momentum and mitigating long-term damage would be greatly appreciated.

I have been charged over 3000.00 in the last 2 weeks. I have about 10,000 or more "other fees" /shipping adjustment. I have opened like 8 cases that got transferred. No email no answer. When you purchase a label through amazon and put in the correct measurements and weight there should be no other charges. About a year and a half sgo my sales on Amazon was 100,000.00 my other fees were anout 150.00 now my sales are 3400.00 and my other fees are 3800.00. Im loosing money, I cant get any answers. Quite obviously Amazon is getting a kick back. If I cant get my money back Im done. Ill go to Ebay, Walmart ect. Amazon has made it where you absolutely cant stay in business and refuse to stand behind their sellers on shipping they charged them for
