Brand registration rejected 5 times

The application for Brand Registry Application has been rejected 5 times due to image issues. the product logo is engraved on the product, why is it still not approved? Is there any good suggestions regarding the issue of product logo picture?

We are unable to approve your application at this time due to the following reason:

The product images provided in your application do not display your brand name permanently affixed to the product. Provide images that display physical products with your brand name. Computer generated images are not accepted.

Amazon expects you have completed everything necessary before applying. Amazon does not tell you how to create a brand, they only offer brands a platform to sell their brand on. Does your brand really exist in the real world before coming to Amazon to sell it or are you trying to start a brand by using the Amazon Site. That is the difference, and it is easy for Amazon to tell.

1. If your brand product really exists in the real world, your products will meet all US standards for packaging (child safety warnings, metal content, made in what country, warranty info, expirations, contact info, etc......as it pertains to the item sold), have all COC's necessary on file, have GS1 registered UPC's in your business name on the product, even have MSDS's on hand in your company/brand name, just to start. Your own brand URL where customers can purchase your product line is always helpful but not necessary. In addition, it is always helpful to be able to show retailers around the country who carry your line of products. USTPO registered Trademark should not be pending, but the final determination document. When you were approved by your Liability Insurance Company, they asked for all of the same information prior to issuing the policy, so what Amazon asks for is no different.

2. Now if your brand does not exist yet, any one of these can cause a problem.

- Are you approved to sell in the category?

- Are you approved to sell the product?

- Your UPC does not match the GS1 data base.

- Don’t request a UPC exemption when you are a manufacturer?

- Your packaging does not meet US standards.

- Does your product have proper labeling and packaging in an easy to read format?

- The quality of your photo's need improving.

- Do you have all COC’s that may be necessary, issued from a USA based Lab.

- Do you have the PENDING or FINAL SECESSION from USTPO attesting that your Brand is now yours.

Somewhere in there is the answer and a solution.

Come October Amazon sort of slows way down on approving new brands to product buyers from holiday problems.

This is just a suggestion to try. I had a similar issue and they do not want professional looking photos sent in for this process. Make sure you are setting this item on a table or against a wall...something very informal as they want to make sure you have the item physically in your possession. You could even try a photo that includes your finger pointing to the brand name that is on the product.

who was your attorney? if you use amazon IP accelerator attorney, your brand gets approved right away lol so Amazon is trying to push sellers to use their attorney

Have a cheap label printed and attach it to the item with the brand name. They want to see something on it besides the item itself.

I had the same issue before. My brand name was printed on the box, I sent a couple of pictures from different angles and got approved finally. Good luck!

Hi @Seller_hBNsbQsKGtgYi

My name is Sandy from the Community manager team.

I looked into your application. As I am not from the Brand Registry I can only assume why the application was declined, but it could be due to just the angle of the picture and quality of it.

I see that your new application though has been under review and Brand registry will update you on results in the next 3-5 days. I hope you hear back good news on this one!

Best,

Sandy
