Set number of items accidently to 2, now amazon has counted my shipment as double units that it should be.
Hi, on a new product i accidently set the number of items to 2. In reality the ASIN has 2 components in 1 unit set. When i sent in 50 units amazon has double counted them as 100 units. I messaged support a number of times to tell them as I am worried they have split all the packages for the item turning things that are meant to be a set into individiual items and when a customer now receives the product they will get only 1 of the two items in the set meaning i will get bad reviews and the customer will have a negative customer experience.
I changed the number of items in the backend back to 1 but this did not change how much inventory it is showing i have it is still showing 100 and support has been very unhelpful unwilling to do anything until 8th May even to begin investigating even though I know only 50 units were sent not 100. The item is available for sale so if we don't do something before it gets shipped out the customer will have a negative customer experience.
Please if anyone has had a similar issue help.
Thanks

the only thing that matters is the FNSKU. Are there 50 FNSKU stickers in that box = 50 units, or 100 = 100 units?

If you didn't pack and label the products clearly (2 pieces that belong together permanently attached by tape, box, bag or alike) with a single SKU label identifying that pack as one, you need to recall your inventory or you will have your account shut down before Amazon will get around to looking at this. If you labeled and packaged it correctly, they will sort it out

Hi @Seller_iV8KfKDRJzWVY,
Thank you for reaching out about this! So happy to see that other sellers have jumped in here to help.
I'm just coming across this thread and wanted to check in with you, has there been any updates on these units since posting?
If you need further assistance with this, please send me your case IDs and I'd be happy to take a further look into those correspondences to see how I can best help here!
Thanks again,
Jameson
