Amazon doesn't let me list even though I have the correct credit card.

Ever since I created my Amazon seller account, Amazon has not allowed me to list. As soon as I try to list and select my category, I am shown an error (Problem with your Seller Account.

You’re currently unable to add or edit listings because either the credit card on file is invalid or the credit card is in the process of validating, which could take up to 24 hours. Please ensure that you have a valid credit card uploaded in Account Settings.)

To fix this error, I have created many cases, It has been 6 months since March, but the Amazon seller support team has not been able to solve it, Every time the case is closed by writing Transferred in the status of the case, I followed every case closely for a long time but there was no result.

While I have replaced the card twice as per the suggestion of the Amazon team, all the cards I have replaced are active cards, but this issue is not getting resolved.

What should I do in such a situation?

Are you using a credit card, or a debit card?

It must be credit -- not debit.

Hi there @Seller_yxqPNjWslBQKH,

Thank you for reaching out with your difficulties with your Credit Card registration. Amazon only accepts the following cards:

  • American Express
  • Diners Club
  • Discover
  • JCB
  • MasterCard
  • Visa

Additionally I would recommend reviewing these troubleshooting steps to see if this might apply to your issue:

  • Is the credit card valid?
  • Is there a minimum charge amount?
  • Are you using a pre-paid card? (Note: Use of a pre-paid card is not accepted for a selling account.)
  • Does the bank have a record of the charge attempt?
  • Are there bank limits or policies that prevent the charge attempt from being authorized?
  • Is there any incorrect credit card information entered? (Note: All the credit card information entered such as number, name, address, ZIP code, or expiration date must be an exact match with your card details.)
  • Is this chargeable in the currency of the Amazon marketplace where you registered your seller account?

You can learn more about this via the Bank account and credit or debit card information for your seller account help page. If you have any other questions please feel free to reply with your most recent Seller Support Case and any other relevant details. Thank you for your understanding.
