Misinformation and Potential Account Security Breach
I am writing to express my deep concern regarding conflicting responses I have received from the Amazon support team and a potential account security issue.
Recently, I was contacted by someone named Cesar Ramirez, claiming to be an Amazon employee, offering assistance to boost my sales in Canada. I opened case to verify whether this person worked for Amazon, and the support team confirmed that he does.
I later received multiple emails from this person, persistently offering to help with my Amazon account and insisting that this was a free Amazon service. Feeling uncertain, I opened another case and this time Amazon informed me that it was a scam, advising me not to share any information with this individual.
I am extremely concerned as to why I received two contradictory responses from Amazon regarding such a critical issue. How can someone who does not work for Amazon be confirmed as an employee in one case and later flagged as a scam in another?
Furthermore, I have serious concerns about the security of my account. How did this person obtain my email address, know which country I am selling in, and gain enough information to appear credible? Can you please confirm whether my account information is truly secure? How can I be assured that my data has not been compromised?

Hello @Seller_KnVfN9YMY6rYS,
Thank you for reaching out here on the forums.
"I am writing to express my deep concern regarding conflicting responses I have received from the Amazon support team and a potential account security issue."
I see that you have concerns with an account security concern and you would like to have this looked at.
So that I may look into this further and review the details, can you please share the associated case ID's? If you have emails from Cesar can you provide a screenshot of what he wrote to you? Your account security is a very high priority and I would like to review this situation in depth.
I am looking forward to your response and assisting you with this. The forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan
