Buyer Received Full Refund Without Returning the Item – A-to-Z Claim Unfairly Granted
Dear Amazon representatives and fellow sellers,
I’m reaching out with a serious concern that reflects a major vulnerability for sellers on this platform.
A buyer initiated a return for order 112-1903532-7501044. The order was delivered using Amazon's purchase and delivery service. I provided local return address in the United States.
expecting the item to be returned before any refund was issued. However, the buyer never returned the item.
Despite this, Amazon approved the A-to-Z claim, deducted $36.95 from my account, and marked the order as defective — without verifying the return.
I submitted a detailed appeal with full evidence, yet it was rejected.
This is extremely discouraging and raises the question:
Are honest sellers being punished while buyer abuse is overlooked?
I kindly ask Amazon to reinvestigate this case and take action to prevent such unfair losses for sellers.
If any fellow sellers have experienced similar issues or have advice, I would truly appreciate your support.

Hello, @Seller_Pi8qCsq1ia94L,
Thank you for coming to the Forums with your concern.
I reviewed your order, and the claim was granted because the delivery date was missed. It should have been delivered before the end of May, and by June, it still hadn't arrived.
