Escalating cases - My account was deactivated and I just want to shut down my amazon business
Hi all, I’m in need of some advice or help regarding an issue I’ve been facing with Amazon for the past two months. My account was deactivated due to a counterfeit suspicion, despite the fact that I sell used books. I’ve provided all the necessary receipts from my established bookstore, which is a legitimate business, as well as any other proof Amazon requested. However, my account remains deactivated, and they’ve yet to accept my documentation.
Right now, I have over 1,000 books in my inventory, and I’m stuck in limbo with no clear way to resolve the situation. I’ve sent multiple emails, but so far, I haven’t received any helpful responses.
At this point, I just want to shut down my Amazon business entirely, but even that request is being blocked. Amazon insists that I resolve the deactivation issue first, which feels like an endless cycle of frustration.
These past two months have been really difficult, and it’s been hard to get any support from Amazon. It seems like there’s no real resource available to help with my case. Has anyone else experienced something similar or know how to proceed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Absolutely, Amazon is now set up on AI with automatic responses.
You write a reply and you get back a generic answer in a minute.
28+ years selling on Amazon I got deactivated from (34) asins that were not mine the next day there investigation team agreed with me.
You call Sellers support and it is really a therapy session. No one is there to resolve problems they still on there computer screens 2024 nothing current.
Someway they say I am selling in Brazil, Canada, Japan never have in sold there. Except one year 15 years ago in Canada they’re showing product delete system won’t allow me.
If have answered there complaint 15 time and they won’t accept it. They won’t tell me what is wrong with it. General responses.

Is there any money sitting on your Amazon account ? if so that's the reason behind Amazon refusal to shut your account , they will be taking money of your account until none is left .
I suggest you downgrade your account to individual so you don't have to pay the monthly fee .
