Copyright infringement - how is this possible?
Here's the situation:
I'm Canadian and sell only in Amazon Canada. Today I received a Copyright Infringement notification for Amazon US. I have never sold or even listed a single product in Amazon US. So how can I receive a copyright infringement notification from a marketplace in which I do no business whatsoever? I've tried Seller Support (opened a case) and even tried getting a call back and all I get is the usual support, that is canned automated responses that have nothing to do with my message.
For those of you wondering about the product that was flagged, I did sell it in Canada. That was a year ago, and yes they were bought from a wholesaler and I had authorization. It didn't perform well so I stopped selling it and deleted the listing (a year ago). But this was only in Canada, not the US.
I know it disappears after 180 days but I don'T think I should have to acknowledge something that makes no sense and for which I hold no responsibility. I would like it removed completely so your insights are welcome.

Hey @Seller_zeFcCxS46gcIy,
That sounds weird, no doubt. Can you share the case ID you mention so I can look into this?
