Duplicate stores created by Amazon

I sell successfully in the US, Canada and Mexico. We are expanding to the UK & EU. I followed the instructions to register for the UK by clicking the "Pending Registration" link next to the UK in my account. All went smoothly until I noticed that I now have 3 duplicate stores for US, Canada and Mexico.

What is the best and safest way to get rid of these new stores. Can I merge them into the existing stores or can I delete them ?How would I do that ?
