[Urgent Appeal!] Unfair A-to-Z Claim: Buyer Received Refund Without Returning Item, Violating Section 4 of the A-to-Z Policy!
On 15th July, a customer requested a refund based on a lower price he had seen for a product sold to him a week ago. The request clearly stated that the request for refund was due to better pricing. On 19th July, an atoz claim was granted to the customer with a different description that the item was not complete - this is a brand new item with all items included as advertised. Amazon denied my appeal and deducted the full amount from my account without initiating a refund for the product!
Amazon has violated its own policy as the item was not returned before a refund was issued. The buyer also did not provide and y physical evidence that there was something wrong with the product other than the contradictory reason for requesting for a refund!

The cost of this wrongly reviewed claim is above 500 dollars for a brand new product that had no issues.

If you approved his initial request you're in the right, he would have had to return it before the refund was issued, if you didn't approve it and waited past the deemed reply time he can claim a-z

Amazon will almost always side with the customer. And in my experience they make stuff up to justify it. I might take some time, but ask to "Escalate to a member of leadership". Sometimes those are the magic words. You just might get someone to look at it fairly. But the initial response is almost always, "You're wrong. The buyer is right. No matter what". They hope that you'll give up after that. But keep trying as I suggested.
