Amazon customer service told me to go to customers house directly to retrieve refund?!?

I've been a seller since 2018 and this interaction takes the cake. Customer reached out claiming they received damaged goods. When I responded asking for photos so I could determine the issue they admitted that it wasn't damaged during shipping but when they went to use it. I responded with another troubleshooting message. Then silence for 3 weeks. Suddenly 4 messages from Amazon Customer service telling me to give him a one time refund and then the last message is what killed me - they told me to go to their house directly and pick up the item. What?? You won't provide me with a phone number for the customer but you want me to go in person to their home??? How is this remotely an acceptable response?

"Dear Amazon Seller,

This is Amazon’s Customer Service team. A customer reached out to us with some questions about a purchase they made from you. Here’s a description of the issue:

Product: B07MTP4SVJ

Order number: 702-2599377-0200231

Return requested: No

Reason for contact: If return center won't allow the item, then please go to customer house directly to pick up the item, and help the customer for a refund.

Please respond to this request within 48 hours.

Thanks,

Amazon Customer Service"

I'm going to be forced to credit this customer without ever receiving the photos I have requested because we all know this is going to go to an A-Z claim next.
