It's urgent. I'm a new seller. I'm asking for help

On June 18, I submitted the application for brand registration in Amazon, but it was rejected

The reason is “could not verify the registered business name and business identifier (e.g. tax ID number or business ID number) provided by you at the time submitting the Brand Registry enrollment form”

After that, I submitted several appeals and submitted the materials, but it still failed. Now, it has been more than three months, and it still hasn't been solved. I ask for help.

The company that I applied for brand registration in the US Trademark Office is the same company that I registered the Amazon store with. Now I can't find the reason why it was rejected. I kindly request the Amazon brand registration team to review my documents manually.

Sounds like you are trying to register someone else's brand name. You can only register a brand that you physically own yourself.

If you are the actual brand owner, and have the USTPO documentation to prove it. All names on every document must match the names and addresses on your Amazon account.

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I am happy to assist. @CR_Amazon gave me a quick rundown of your issue and hopefully I can help.

While the appeal team will not provide any additional information to me that they have not already provided to you, I have seen a number of Brand Registry enrollment cases that have been rejected for the same reason so I have some general assistance when appealing.

First, a new Help page has been created to help further define this step in the enrollment process: Brand Registry application business information.

Other notes to keep in mind:

  • The business information step is to validate that the entity applying is in fact the TM Owner. For this reason, ensure that all appeal elements (including attachments) match what is in UPSTO (or any of the other accepted TM offices)

I did see that your most recent appeal was just declined 17 hours ago so I am hoping that this provides some actionable steps for your next appeal.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
