FBA shipment product count discrepancies

Hi,

I have smaller but frequent shipments this year, and I experience 1 out of every 5 shipments where I have a product missing 1 or 2 units. Sometimes I got dinged with "you have a shipment problem to resolve" and sometimes not. Not even sure how they determine that. My main issue is this is very hard to fight, I only ship in boxes of 40, so it doesn't make sense that it misses 1 or 2.

I also found it hard to get to the inventory people who actually can help. I have a product I know I only shipped 120 but backend said I have 160 in stock. I opened a case and support just sent robotic message saying: warehouse count things twice so they must be right. A month later, guess what? inventory drops 40 overnight...

Not here to rant but want to ask: has anyone successfully fight these unit discrepancies and what kind of proof do you provide? invoices and packing list did not help in my case.

Hi @Seller_4yPbAtkqjPxE6,

I appreciate you reaching out about this!

When you run into quantity discrepancies with shipments, do you follow the steps listed on this help page to reconcile the shipment? If not, I would highly recommend starting there.

If you're ever stuck on future cases/shipments, please don't hesitate starting a thread on the forums. A Community Manager would love to take a look into your cases to see how they can assist you further.

That said, if you'd like for me take a look into any cases now, please send me those case IDs and I'd be happy to!

In the meantime, please let me know if you have any additional questions.

All the best,

Jameson
