My Pro Subscription Fee Seems To Be Split Between Canada and USA And Look Like Fraudulent Charges On My Card
A strange Amazon Marketplace monthly charge started showing up on my charge card about 6 months ago and I could not get Amazon or my bank to discover the source of it. After spending hours with both US and Canada Amazon marketplaces and my bank, I had my card changed twice and got 'fraud' charges refunded Suddenly it started showing up again immediately after I activated my last new card.
The only place I had updated my new card was Amazon Seller Central and so decided to do some more digging.
I have a US-based Pro account but had some Canadian listings. I use a Canadian credit card (I live in Canada) and the charges were odd amounts and looked like an exchanged rate although the US price was not noted on my bank statement like other US charges. They are always about the same time of the month (20th) so seemed like some kind of subscription.
When I check my US payments/transactions, I see that the subscription fee is an odd number and not $39.99 like before. The charges on my card are about $19.27, but without the US amount, it's hard to tell what the actual US fee is.
MY QUESTION is how do I know what am I being charged for the US and Canada marketplaces? How do I go back to a unified $39.99 monthly fee because this split billing is very confusing and a lot more time-consuming and complicated than it needs to be.
If these 'fraud' charges on my card are in fact from Seller Central, it would be really great if Amazon departments could have some kind of link to each other so that these kinds of issues could be solved.
Thanks!

The Unified North America Pro Plan splits up the fee among the various platforms. If you do exchange rates, it will be within pennies of the $39.99. With mine, they also do it about a week apart, say $26.00 US, then a week later around $20 Canadian. There is no way to change it back to one fee. Amazon is always "evolving" (making things more complicated than they need to be).

Hello @Seller_pbE7cCQnIizbn,
Thank you for contacting Amazon Forums.
As @Seller_kNAboD6kRgVt7 mentioned, this subscription fee breakdown is due to your North America Unified Account. Please take a look at the following Help Pages:
In the second Help Page, refer to the section What fees will I pay if I sell something using my Unified Account?, it explains the following: "For all per-item transaction fees, you will pay the fees applicable to the store in which the item was sold. Your monthly Professional selling plan subscription fee will be allocated to each North American store in which you have active listings on your monthly billing day, and will be limited to USD 39.99 or its equivalent in total."
Hope this clarifies your concerns. Nevertheless, if you have a follow-up question, please do not hesitate in replying in this thread, I will be more than glad to help.
Sincerely, Jurgen
