Ongoing Seller Abuse – Urgent Escalation Needed
I am writing to report a case of persistent seller abuse that has been affecting the integrity of the platform for nearly three months. Despite repeated efforts on my part—both through the forum and the Report Abuse tool—the issue remains unresolved, and it is becoming increasingly frustrating.
The seller in question (seller name: tanyuchengdianpu) is repeatedly merging their ASIN B0F93ZMMDJ for mouth tape with a completely unrelated, high-traffic listing (specifically, Hefty garbage bags with over 15,000 reviews) - Parent ASIN B0FF23HDN9. This is a blatant manipulation tactic aimed at hijacking visibility and reviews. Just need to run the Variation Wizard to see what I am talking about.
Each time I report the abuse:
The listings are briefly corrected (usually for no more than 2 hours).
The seller manages to re-merge the ASIN almost immediately.
The Report Abuse tool incorrectly states that there is nothing wrong with the listing.
Forum reports have led to temporary fixes, but the abuse continues without any lasting penalty.
This cycle has been going on for almost three months. If there is no consequence for this behavior, the seller will continue exploiting the system indefinitely. It’s disheartening to see this kind of manipulation go unchecked, and frankly, I am losing trust in the platform's ability to protect honest sellers and maintain listing integrity.
This is not just a one-time error—it’s an ongoing, deliberate abuse of the system. I’m asking for this issue to be properly escalated and reviewed by the appropriate team before more damage is done.
This requires urgent and serious attention.
Note: this seller is doing same tactic for 3 more of his products
Thank you.

We are experiencing the EXACT same thing with 2 sellers in our category:
Suoxiao and jinghexinchenghanpeibaihuodian
Both these sellers merge their ASINS with unrelated ASINS harnessing tens of thousands of irrelevant reviews, taking the star rating with it.
I have an amazon account manager and each time they escalate, the reviews disappear for a day or two, but just as the OP suggests, the sellers always find a way to remerge them. Very frustrating and disheartening. Please do something. These bad actors need to be dealt with permanently.
