Engine oil shipping to Amazon Warehouse using partner courier

3 years ago when I shipped engine oil to Amazon Canada, i sent through UPS as partner shipping company

Now I see some forums where it says we cannot ship engine oil because it is hazmat, but many forum link says it is not hazmat, hence UPS or partner company cannot ship oil.

I am confused exactly what to do and how to ship to Amazon Canada or USA warehouse, especially engine oil.

If i use non partner courier, does that mean i am paying the actual shipping fees that any other private user will spend? If yes, then it will be very expensive I believe to ship this to warehouse and then make profit

Anyone with such an experience or suggestions?

Thanks

Good afternoon@Seller_6Z8S5erNH2qo5,

Thanks for taking the time to post, and I will be happy to provide further information. To sell automotive oil with the FBA program, you will likely need to be enrolled in the FBA Dangerous Goods program. This is because automotive oil does full under the Dangerous Goods (hazmat) category, so extra regulations come with it.

You will need to apply to the program, and I believe there is still currently a wait-list. However, once you are approve you will be able to move forward the process of getting your inventory to the FC network. You can review this Seller Central help page for more details on the program, and instructions on how to apply.

I hope this helps, best of luck to you!
