yes this happens on and off to my shipments. I believe its amazon's faulty algo thinking GA will take too long to get your package to your buyers in time. Usually happens in zone 5-8 for my shipments. Amazon needs to figure this out. GA is VERY FAST! 95% of my shipments are within 1-3 days arrival almost exactly the same time frame as Priority.

Check your handling time. Amazon recently changed the default handling time from 2 days to 1 day for 3rd party FBM sellers. If this is the case then change it back to 2 days. Without that extra day the system thinks ground advantage will not make it in time so

We are also experiencing the same issue. For our Seller Fulfilled orders first thing this morning we notice USPS Ground Advantage options are not showing up. Is there something wrong with Buy Shipping through Amazon? On a couple orders from over the weekend we see the cheapest shipping options shows up as "USPS Rate A Box" which has been discontinued from USPS for quite some time. Please can we request an Amazon moderator to investigate? I have a seller support case opened and have had two calls with seller support and for both calls they hung up on me. We have many orders from this past weekend that are waiting to be shipped today, please can someone help us?

We had the same problem. I'm wondering if this has something to do with Saturday being a postal holiday. Seems like every time there is a holiday, Amazon's ship by date might take into account the holiday, but the deliver by date doesn't. So, if your last deliver by date falls on Saturday, the postal holiday, it won't let you choose a service that might not get there by Saturday.

Do we have an answer to this yet? We automatically use 1 day handling, and now we are losing money on our shipments since everything seems to be switch to Amazon's "automatic" template. This puts all our items in a premium shipment mode now and we are busted for the day financially. How about a little heads up Amazon????????

Yes, Amazon went again and changed something that wasn't broken. I had the exact problem this weekend into monday. I used PayPal shipping to ship my Amazon orders using USPS ground adv.antage.
To fix it for me.... I went into my "shipping settings" (click the gear looking thing in the top right of your home screen). I went in and updated the "Default Amazon Template". Activate the button taht says "Shipping Setting Automation". Chose the services you will use for free shipping and then save. I did this, now I have USPS ground again on my list of available shipment options.
I'm no expert or authority on this, this is just what I did. It would be great if an actual amazon rep would clarify this.
