Deactivated Account due to restricted product policy
Hello Team,
I really need an answer , a solution or a path to solve this issue. Fighting over 3 weeks to reinstate my deactivated account due a restricted product policy . Here is my story;
I am a reseller and most of my living expenses’ earning is here at amazon platform. I got my items through auctions or at current market to resell it for a profit. 99% of my products are brand new and selling everything from a to z. My account is years old , in good standing, in good ratings, no account health issues and never been deactivated for this kind of reason before ( the previous deactivation was a bank account info change which it was a normal procedure). I do not have my own brand or own ASIN. The restricted product I have listed was months ago. Around 3 weeks ago one day I received a notification from amazon which says remove this listing because it is a restricted product now. And I missed that email-notice and then early next day my account has been deactivated . Have not much time to check my notification nor received an another notification in this 24 hours. Short story long, I have messaged, called many many times during this 3 weeks to solve what is the actual issue with my account. They requested from me the following info such as revise the listing( which is impossible since its not my created asin), provide the item is safe with evindence ( I m not manufacturing this item as well). The responses are as you know all repetitive same exact emails. Provided as much as documents I was able to and explained and tried to understand what was the actual deal on my account which amazon took this step to seriously. All reps I talked were overseas and seems they have no voice over this kind of account issues. No one was helping at all.
And lastly yesterday, received another email from amazon which says they removed all my inventory. Had over 500 listing and now all vanished. There is something fishy going on here and I will not gave up! I did not sell anything illegal or break amazons policy on propose or continue to do that. And plus have some balance on the account and afraid that could be held for a nonsense reason who knows.
I am really seeking and advice, a path, a resolution or anything to get my account back and continue sales to pay my expenses for living.
Thank you for all reading and giving advices in advance.

Yes you did and it's a miracle you are still here "after years" - how you say. Your fault:
To sell brands on Amazon you need:
1. A "Letter of Authorization" from the brand allowing you to sell their brand on Amazon.
2. INVOICE (not receipt) from an authorized distributor. An invoice is a document with your name and address, exactly how you registered it in your seller account under "Legal Entity" and "Official Registered Address". And an authorized distributor is a company authorized by the brand owner.
Copy and paste here Amazon's message about that deactivation. Most probably it contains "fraudulent and illegal" because you don't have a valid supply chain. Such products are considered counterfeit and will be destroyed.
If you see "fraudulent and illegal" - and cannot provide the above mentionned elements you will never again be allowed to sell on Amazon, unfortunately.

This will not be tolerated on Amazon. Your items are considered "inauthentic" Retail arbitrage is no longer tolerated.
Amazon does not allow mistakes
There is none, at this point.

This is the first deactivation message and the Item

After reviewing your account and the information that you provided, we have determined that your Amazon.com selling partner account will remain deactivated.
Why did this happen?
We have taken this measure because you have listed items that are not permitted for sale on Amazon in a manner to avoid detection. Items sold on Amazon must adhere to all applicable laws and Amazon policies. For more information, you can refer to the following resources:
-- "Restricted Products":

Has your account been deactivated in error?
Listing products on Amazon in a manner to avoid detection is considered evasive behavior. Evasive behavior does not have a path to reinstatement unless you provide valid proof of your adherence to all applicable laws and Amazon policies. To reactivate your seller account, submit evidence or documentation demonstrating that your account has not violated our Restricted Products policy.
To submit this information, click the "Submit new information" button on the banner at the top of your "Account Health" page in Seller Central and follow the instructions provided:

What happens if I do not send the requested information?
If we do not receive proof of compliance with our policies, your account will remain deactivated.
We're here to help

Because that is the direction Amazon has taken. See "sourcing guidelines" in help

And that means you did something to list items you were not permitted to sell, such as having them in the wrong category or under a wrong brand name. Either way, their mind is made up. There is no return.

Hello @Seller_LcVo9AihZBpn9,
Thank you for reaching out on the Forums.
Just to clarify, on a Restricted Product deactivation, you will be required to provide a dispute that proves your listing were NOT in violation at the time your account was deactivated.
Now to drill down for your specific concern, can you please provide an ASIN, a case ID or the performance notification I could review?
You did mention "I do not have my own brand or own ASIN". As a general rule, when you select another sellers ASIN to list under, you take the responsibility of making sure that listing is correct, just as if you created the listing yourself.
I look forward to your response. The forums community and I are here to support you.
Thank you,
April
