Amazon OVERCHARGED my account - SAYS INVALID CHARGE METHOD but still getting chraged?!?
For some reason, my account was locked due to an “invalid charge method.” I immediately updated my payment method, but it continued to say the same thing. Meanwhile, I have seen charges on my credit card totalling over $1,700 CAD, and yet my account remains locked.
Support told me my account was reinstated two days ago, yet I still cannot access it. If my payment method is supposedly invalid, how has Amazon been able to charge my card?
For two weeks, I’ve been calling every 48 hours, and every time I’m given the same response: "Wait another 48 hours."Nothing changes. Today, I was charged $666 with no explanation.
I only use Amazon for MCF, and now my customers are requesting returns that I cannot process. This situation is unacceptable and causing serious damage to my business.
At this point, I am strongly considering legal action for damages. If anyone else has experienced similar issues, please reach out—a class action lawsuit may be warranted.
