Hey @Seller_nE9DQQ7X99r9e,

Amazon’s Tax Exemption Program (ATEP) is an option available to sellers using Tax Calculation Service to accept exemptions from buyers who are also enrolled in ATEP. By participating, you will experience automatic handling of buyer exemptions directly through your seller account.

To modify your participation in ATEP, follow these steps:

1- Navigate to Settings and click Tax Settings in Seller Central

2- Scroll down to the Amazon Tax Exemption Program (ATEP) section.

3- Select/clear the Enroll in the Amazon Tax-Exemption Program box.

4- Select the Tax Methodology and Service Terms box to accept.

5- Click Save Settings.

Would this be the feature you are making reference to?

I will await your confirmation on this matter.

Hello,

What I mean is my default product tax code is A_GEN_TAX, but when I pull out sales tax reports, it says that every single product sold is under the tax code A_GEN_NOTAX.

Ohh, apologies on my first approach, thank you for clarifying.

A Product Tax Code (PTC) can be assigned at the item or default level, so if you want to expand your product line it shouldn't affect that you selected the A_GEN_TAX at first.

You can learn more about this on the following links:

Product Tax Codes

View Available Amazon Product Tax Codes

I hope this information helps. Remember that in case you need extra support, you can always reach out to our Seller Support team.
