Urgent Help Needed: "Your Account Does Not Qualify" Error and Stranded Inventory Affecting Business

Hello fellow sellers,

I’m reaching out for urgent help regarding a critical issue I’m experiencing with my Amazon Canada store. I have been selling on Amazon for over 4 years, maintaining excellent account metrics and complying with all policies. Recently, I encountered a problem that is significantly affecting my business, and I’m hoping someone in the community might have faced a similar issue or can offer advice.

Here’s the situation:

I accidentally deleted 23 active listings from my inventory. These products were previously approved and actively selling.

When I tried to relist them, they were subjected to approval again, which is understandable. However, after clicking the “Apply to Sell” button, I received a red error message: "Your account does not qualify".

This error prevents me from completing the approval process. It seems that the system is declining the approval instantly without reviewing the product requirements. As a result, these 23 listings, along with hundreds of units, are now stuck in stranded inventory.

The problem is not isolated to just these listings. Many other products that were previously approved are now also requiring approval, and I keep encountering the same error. This has severely impacted my ability to restock and continue selling.

I’ve contacted Seller Support multiple times, but the responses haven’t addressed the core of the issue. I’m worried that if this isn’t resolved soon, I will face significant financial losses, especially with Q4 approaching.

Has anyone else experienced this unusual error during the approval process? What steps did you take to resolve it? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help!

Additionally, I have already opened a case regarding this issue with ID 15970869181, but I have not received sufficient assistance from the support team.

The same situation is valid for all of us right now and it is a terrible situation. It seems like there is no solution.

We currently have 471 listings with the same situation.

We had to halt our warehouse operations, we basically can't create FBA shipments as most of our best sellers are among the 471 listings with this overnight "approval required" bug.

Just to confirm, you are not a US citizen, right? And there is an address entered to the account rather than a US address when opening the account, right?

Please confirm this information, I have a theory about this brother.

Hello @Seller_JFmntS4g3nEEZ,

It seems the Performance Notification you received on 9/7 contains the information on why those listings are not being accepted for approval anymore.

For you and additional sellers on this post, please use the Call Me Now Button on your Account Health dashboard to work on a potential review/solution.
