I have a generic product that is not on Amazon

What do I need to do?

  1. List it as Generic with a GTIN exemption
  2. Get a new UPC and register it by our Company Name / Brand Name

Either one would work, but if you don’t care about creating an actual “brand” for your company that you list it under, then just list it as Generic.

This would be a huge amount of instructions for anyone here in the forums to key in.
It is best that you attend Amazon’s Seller University to learn these things.
There is so much involved – rules, regulations, laws, restrictions, processes, laboratories, certifications, approvals, branding, trademarks, invoices, etc., etc.
Best of luck,
CJ
