Shipping Template Amazon needs to allow changes

Hi Moderators,
As mentioned Amazon send orders to 3rd party Sellers where Amazon does not deliver, however Amazon needs us to allow Seller to set shipping template based on Location
this simply does not make any more sense as Amazon is literally forcing to cancel orders which then affects Sellers Performance Metrics and then the Buy Box Eligibility
eg; Product A -> Small package 2lbs @ 20$ item can be shipped via Canada Post (as this is the only Carrier that would ship small parcels to those remote location) example 14$ shipping
Products B -> Medium -Large item -> Volume Weight for 30lbs 47$ the item, to the same location would cost shipping 50$-80$
you get 100 orders of product A & B in a week then you loose around 800 on the 1st product and loose 3000 on the 2nd product,
Amazon has set its search result based on location for buyers but had not allowed sellers to adjust its shipping based on Location. this is not ethical business practice!.
Amazon needs to changed this as specially not shipping an order affect ODR and Buy box , which Amazon pushes For FBA or give upper hand Amazon own listings to be featured

Hello! @Technodil
Thank you for using the Forums. I understand your concern regarding the shipping templates, can you please provide me more context on this "Amazon send orders to 3rd party Sellers where Amazon does not deliver", perhaps, if you can provide a couple of orders I can use to further review this it will help me identify who I can contact to pass along this feedback.
Regards,
Roberto

Go into your Canada selling account, click the settings button in the top right corner, and click shipping settings, and make sure the Shipping templates tab is checked.

What clause of the Canada Competition act do you think this violates? Amazon requires all Canadian customers pay the same price regardless of location unless they are located in the 3 Northern Territories.
Amazon also ships everywhere, if there is a postal code not serviced by Amazon van or other carriers, then the package goes Canada Post.

Amazon giving you the business and passing a sale on to you is not "killing the competition"

Why isn't it shippable?

These areas are all serviced by UniUni, Fleet Optics, Intelcom, all of Amazon's small third party couriers etc. Sooke is right next door to the Provincial capital of Victoria! Not out of zone at all! Brentwood bay is even closer!
Maybe it's only your courier (GLS i think) that doesn't serve these areas?
The examples you have provided are not out of zone lol! Literally, the same rate to Victoria as it is to Sooke as it is to Brentwood bay! Heck, the ferry system means all the packages have to pass by Brentwood bay before getting to the provincial capital of Victoria, which means Brentwood bay is even cheaper, distance wise.
So you're literally complaining about Amazon giving you a sale?

Victoria is the Provincial Capital City. It is the mainest city you can get. a Provincial CAPITAL city.
I don't use publicly available shipping platforms. I mentioned that I was only using it as an example:
We have negotiated rates with our carriers, and that isn't our postal code. It was a random postal code in BC for example purposes to show you that the difference of what you say in zone and out of zone was only $4.
They do, Canada is split up into 5 different regions with Amazon. This has been mentioned and showed to you before.
Try your math again, it's $4 out of $16 is 25%, not 10%

That's correct, but all you have provided examples for is urban and rural. Nothing out of zone yet. I am well aware of what out of zone postal codes are and you haven't provided any examples.
We have negotiated business rates directly with Canada post directly. Again, I have a rate table spreadsheet from Canada post and know what out of zone postal codes are, and you haven't provided any.

Hi,
Our shop is new on Amazon and I was flabbergasted about that! So I ended up offering our Ontario shipping rates to every provinces, which disadvantages our Quebec customers to whom we usually offer better rates (we are based in Montreal) and disadvantages us when shipping in provinces far from us...
Anyways, we'll see how it goes, but I totally understand your frustration. Even if they allow us to not ship in the territories (thank god!), nothern Quebec for example is as expensive and isolated than Nuvavut.
