Shipping Template Amazon needs to allow changes

@Ricardo_Amazon

@Christine_Amazon

@Lucre_Amzn

Hi Moderators,

As mentioned Amazon send orders to 3rd party Sellers where Amazon does not deliver, however Amazon needs us to allow Seller to set shipping template based on Location

this simply does not make any more sense as Amazon is literally forcing to cancel orders which then affects Sellers Performance Metrics and then the Buy Box Eligibility

eg; Product A -> Small package 2lbs @ 20$ item can be shipped via Canada Post (as this is the only Carrier that would ship small parcels to those remote location) example 14$ shipping

Products B -> Medium -Large item -> Volume Weight for 30lbs 47$ the item, to the same location would cost shipping 50$-80$

you get 100 orders of product A & B in a week then you loose around 800 on the 1st product and loose 3000 on the 2nd product,

Amazon has set its search result based on location for buyers but had not allowed sellers to adjust its shipping based on Location. this is not ethical business practice!.

Amazon needs to changed this as specially not shipping an order affect ODR and Buy box , which Amazon pushes For FBA or give upper hand Amazon own listings to be featured

What clause of the Canada Competition act do you think this violates? Amazon requires all Canadian customers pay the same price regardless of location unless they are located in the 3 Northern Territories.

Amazon also ships everywhere, if there is a postal code not serviced by Amazon van or other carriers, then the package goes Canada Post.

Hi,

Our shop is new on Amazon and I was flabbergasted about that! So I ended up offering our Ontario shipping rates to every provinces, which disadvantages our Quebec customers to whom we usually offer better rates (we are based in Montreal) and disadvantages us when shipping in provinces far from us...

Anyways, we'll see how it goes, but I totally understand your frustration. Even if they allow us to not ship in the territories (thank god!), nothern Quebec for example is as expensive and isolated than Nuvavut.
