My Account deactivated

A customer, who is an expert, said that the filter of the Brita brand water purifier that I bought from Canadian Tire was fake and Amazon immediately deactivated my account. I have the cash register receipt. My bank payment is inconsistent. There are 2 filters in 1 box and I sent 2 boxes. The super talented Amazon employee who read the package marked 4 as delivered. I don't understand how he wrote 4 for 2 boxes but I only sent 2 boxes. The worse part is that Amazon closes the account without investigating the complaint, according to which expert knowledge this product is fake and not original. What is even worse is that when I contacted Amazon by phone and explained this incident, the Amazon employee said that Canadian Tire may have sold fakes. Actually, this is what I understand. The employees are not knowledgeable about their jobs properly and they are neglecting their jobs. I received an e-mail from Amazon and they asked for the receipts of the products in the warehouse and I sent them. This time they said it was not enough and asked for a video interview. Although we were ready on the given day and time, no one from Amazon attended. They sent an e-mail again and said that the interview did not take place due to a situation that was not caused by us. They sent an e-mail asking for another appointment. I do not understand how such a big company has such frivolity and lack of knowledge in its employees. It only happens to me. Suffering, trouble and trouble. How can I solve this problem? I have no patience anymore.

If you are selling new items, Amazon will want to see "invoices" rather than "receipts." They want you to buy from an authorized disbributor or manufacturer. Canadian Tire is a retail store, and can only provide you a receipt. If you cannot provide an invoice, Amazon will likely not reinstate your account.

Sadly, too many of Amazon's "employees" are AI Bots, not humans. They see the word "fake" in a complaint, they automatically bring down the hammer. And if you do get a human, they are saying whatever they can to claim they have "resolved" your case. No actual knowledge or thinking involved.

Good luck to you.

That doesn't mean anything. You bought from a retailer, instead of a wholesale distributor and you don't have a valid supply chain. How do you have proof that a previous canadian tire customer didn't return the filters with fakes?

Did you put the required "Do not open/sold as set/sold as pair/sold as 2 pack/ready to ship" labels on the outside of the product package? If not, this is on you, as part of the FBA receiving procedures, Amazon opens up ALL boxes and counts all products unless that label is applied.

They wanted to see your wholesale distributor's invoice or your brand authorization letter from Brita showing you as an authorized reseller with a valid supply chain. If you don't provide those documents, they can't investigate any further.

Thank you for the information provided regarding the issues that you have been seeing recently. I did reach out and confirm that our team does intend to complete the video call with you on 10/18/2024 at 10 AM PDT. Please ensure that you have all the documentation related to the ASINs they have requested for so that they may verify your supply chain set up.

Did you ensure that your products had been properly labelled? Do you have authorization documents that can further show you were able to sell these products on the platform? As mentioned in the thread, if they are unable to verify the details or identify any discrepancies, they will be obligated to reject the details. If they determine that your supply chain is not verifiable, we cannot guarantee a favorable outcome for this concern.

We do encourage you to refer here once you have completed the video call and received the outcome so we may better understand your current status.

Best,

Atlas

I for one am certainly not a fan of Amazon's policies nor their non-existence of fair & knowledgeable customer support but in this case you have no right to complain. You bought a product from a retail store and then sold it to a customer on Amazon. Totally wrong & against policy!
