Account Deactivation Due to Product Authenticity Violation

Hello Sellers,

Our Amazon.ca seller account was recently deactivated, and we’re seeking help and advice from others who may have experienced similar situations.

We received a notification from Amazon citing the following ASINs:

B01JF9R2TS

To clarify:

The ASIN B01JF9R2TS was only added to our catalog as a draft listing. No orders were placed, and no fulfillment or transactions occurred. We believe this ASIN may have been mistakenly included in the investigation, as it was never sold.

The other ASINs (B0CWNLC3XB, B0CPPT7WRM, B0D97T9N3P, B0D7VM3WDJ, B0CWV5P2WG) did receive customer orders. We submitted valid invoices for each of these to Amazon. These products were intended to be fulfilled via FBM sellers on Amazon.com, but we now understand that our fulfillment method did not fully comply with Amazon’s Drop Shipping Policy.

Actions We Have Taken:

Removed all affected ASINs from our store.

Ensured that all submitted invoices are correct and in accordance with Amazon policy.

Clarified that B01JF9R2TS was never ordered or fulfilled.

Immediately discontinued sourcing from FBM sellers.

Shifted exclusively to Amazon FBA or authorized brand distributors.

Audited all listings to ensure policy compliance.

Preventive Measures Implemented:

Conducted a full review of Amazon’s Drop Shipping Policy and other relevant policies.

Created a supplier verification process to ensure all future suppliers meet Amazon’s fulfillment requirements.

Implemented a dropshipping compliance checklist before any product goes live.

Ensured all packaging and documentation are neutral and under our seller name.

We now maintain full control of customer service and returns.

Relevant Amazon Policies We Reviewed:

Drop Shipping Policy: www.amazon.com/gp/help/external/200317150

Product Authenticity and Quality Policy: www.amazon.com/gp/help/external/200508210

Prohibited Seller Activities and Actions: www.amazon.com/gp/help/external/20038638

Selling Policies and Code of Conduct: www.amazon.com/gp/help/external/200386300

We’ve submitted a full Plan of Action to Amazon outlining these steps. We believe the inclusion of ASIN B01JF9R2TS was a misunderstanding, and we have taken all necessary actions to correct our fulfillment strategy moving forward.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue and successfully resolved it? We would truly appreciate any insight, advice, or shared experience from fellow sellers.

Thank you for your time,

Kubra Ozkara

This is the only way not to get suspended, this supply chain has the correct path for resale on Amazon. Sourcing retail ( Amazon and other retailers) is strictly against the rules.

These situations rarely are recoverable. The boards are full of sellers in the same boat. Rarely if ever do you get your account back. 1 strike and you are out on this platform.
