Auto populated Sponsored Display campaign charged 50x my regular spending
After creating a Sponsored Product campaign, I checked back after 4 hours and found out a Sponsored Display campaign, which I had never created, generated with an absurdly high bidding price. Within a few hours, I was billed over 50 times my usual spending amount. Upon reviewing the ad history, it's evident that the ads are not in line with my usual spending and strategy, and the CPC is far beyond what a reasonable person would attempt for my product price. Despite clearly not creating the ads myself, Amazon claims they cannot take responsibility. Is there a way to get a refund? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @Seller_cFOXtfwjYLaLF,
Tatiana from Amazon here. It's important to remember that bid prices do fluctuate and they can fluctuate often. We always suggest taking a look at the bid range you have set and making sure it is within your budget.
Additionally, on the subject of budgets, your daily budget is actually averaged over the course of a month. This means that on any given day you could spend less than your daily budget, or up to 100% more than your average daily budget using leftover amounts from previous days in the month. This could be what happened here -- it's hard to say for sure without viewing the particular campaign.
If you still feel that something might be off here, you can reach out to Ads Support or provide an Ads Support case ID to me here if you have already reached out.
