Anyone noticing FBA Orders not getting fulfilled?

The Sales Orders weren't getting updated on the Dashboard last week.

Now, I'm noticing a lot of FBA orders (more than usual) stuck in Pending status (Open Orders). Related glitch?

I've had very few orders fulfilled in the past 48 hours (16 out of 42) and even older ones are just sitting and waiting to be filled. So many more than usual. Anyone else?

This is a recent standard order, I am not a Prime member. It did qualify for free shipping.

Too bad, needed to open a case then come here for a solution. Sorry Mod's!

ID 15911794021

9 different buyers, 9 different orders, all same product at same warehouse. Nothing fulfilled.

Not a single order for this item has been processed.

img

I pay for FBA, not non-fulfillment and losing orders OR having my inventory tied up so it can't be sold.

  • Warehouse lost inventory?
  • Competitor tying my inventory up?
  • Glitch?

It's obvious something isn't working right and it's Amazon's responsibility TO TRY to do the work they agreed to.

CASE SUPPORT repeatedly told me FOR NINE DIFFERENT BUYERS OF SAME PRODUCT...

"On checking i could see that the order has not shipped because we haven’t received payment authorization from the buyer. We were unable to authorize the buyer's payment method. We have notified the buyer and are trying to secure payment authorization. The buyer has been notified that the order can’t be completed until their payment information has been updated."

"I understand that these order are important for your sale, however as of now we are unable to investigate the pending orders because it was currently waiting for payment authorization."

"Please be informed that there is no issue with the order the reason is waiting for payment however if there is any technical issue we will notify to the buyer hence it will not affect your account health."

"As I mentioned before the order has not shipped because we haven’t received payment authorization from the buyer, hence we are waiting for the payment."

AND ULTIMATELY...

"If we cannot verify the payment method within 21 days of the sale date, we will cancel the order and the item will be 'Fulfillable' in your Inventory Amazon Fulfills page."

Ummm, we want orders fulfilled and products sold... not to hold inventory forever and pay AMZ FBA to do it.

PLEEEEEASE, Amazon FIRE THESE SUPPORT COMPANIES. It's such a snub. I can predict the ridiculous things they are going to say. It's insulting to a sane's person's intelligence. Maybe FTC is the only solution. Hopefully not, Amazon. You can't take the FBA job, charge businesses for your service, then make up lies when you're asked to investigate an issue on your end (while charging for storage).

I can accept that holdups and mistakes happen. But willful negligence, lies, and gaslighting abuse is not okay.

Its normal. Look at the order status, its in pending for payment. I have 46 currently. Sometimes its more, sometimes its less. None of the fulfillment promises are valid until payment is processed. Could be abuse by a competitor but more likely its just normal customers whos payment on file has expired, entered incorrectly, address doesnt match (moved), over thier credit limit, non sufficient funds etc...

Please, @Seller_Qbd0RsfZFEZBY don't propagate the BS we get that these are all payment issues. They are not at all

View post

I stated its likely payment issues based on my experiance as I have seen many orders have this issue. I have also personally had orders delayed when my CC went expired or I put in a typo and I received a notification to make an adjustment and the order processed when the adjustment was made.

I disagree with your statement that is rarely a payment issue and find evidence for the payment issue anecdotally, empirically, supported by data and support.

They all got shipped out on time... only one out of 14 items had the order cancelled (probably due to slow delivery time). I'm happy.

CASE CLOSED. I trust AMZ more now.

Yes. August has been a nightmare. I have 7 shipments that have been checked in and are currently in receiving, but nothing has been placed in the warehouse. At the same time they are all available for sale and a lot have sold, so much like you they are stuck in Pending status. Its BS. Amazon must have changed something around. THey shouldn't make things available for sale before they can stock them in the warehouse.

I have exactly the same going on with my orders. First, it took more than two weeks to unpack a small (13x13x13 inch) box at the Fayetteville NC FBA warehouse. Now it has been about two weeks since the product became available again and I have 55 orders just sitting there not getting shipped out. This morning I received the same message from Amazon that the customer has not paid up yet. This is 55 orders from 55 DIFFERENT people! I find it hard to believe that all 55 people suddenly have a payment issue. Amazon, what the heck is going on?
