Unable to sell Nike items
Is anyone else going through the same issue. A few months ago I was approved to sell Nike items. I recently attempted to add a new Nike product to my inventory and got the notification that I was unable to add inventory due to not being ungated in that category. Now they're not accepting applications to sell in that category. What a disaster!

Nike has restricted 3rd party selling. If you can recall any inventory, you have because they will shut down your account for counterfeit items (assuming you do not have a LOA from Nike).

Nike banned their products from amazon years ago. They are the top brand on the list of brands that you can't sell on amazon at all. If you haven't just been permanently deactivated yet, I would learn the list of brands that you can't sell on amazon at all, as well as the list of brands that can only be sold with a written letter of authorization that specifies amazon sales. Most of those companies can be unlocked with a small $10k order. You should also learn all the terms that trigger the AI to take down listings.

You are confusing AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product. Amazon may have ungated you for a CATEGORY but there can be 100's of brands in the category and they ALL have their own restrictions.
AMAZON is only interested in FEES. They will allow a chimpanzee to list if it means they collect $$$$$.
You really need to go study Seller U instead of TikTok and YouTube before your account gets kicked to the curb permanently.

Yes. Type "Nike" in the search bar on top with time filters left 1-2 years and you will find countless threads.
Nobody can sell Nike on Amazon without written "Letter of Authorization" from Nike.

Hello @Seller_NaS5G66BikywO,
I'm sorry you're having trouble listing your product. Amazon requires approval to sell in many categories, brands, and products and in some instances restrictions and policies change. As the Amazon catalog grows, we continuously make new determinations on which products should be restricted, which is based on a number of factors. Amazon does this to ensure authenticity and customer satisfaction. For this reason, you may be required to gain approval to sell certain products. In most situations, a direct invoice from the manufacturer is required.
You will find more details about this using the resources below:
