sales Have Fallen Off sudden
I've been selling on Amazon for 8 years and have a lot of data to show what I expect to be selling relative to other years. My January was down 80% from the previous January. I don't know what happend and the sudden nature of it makes me feel like something in the algorithm has changed. So what do we need to pay attention to?

I never participate in declined sales - usually, the variables align with what most sellers don't know or have tracked from years of selling.
BSR is just as strong one of the top results on most terms, HIGHLY sought category, this time last year end of day 312 units on average. So far 68 and it looks to end around 140. It's been like this last 3 weeks.

My product is NOT subject to tarriffs, either.

Amazon algorithm has changed for the sure. But still If your ads are perfect then no one can stop you to get sales. It seems you made some changes in your title or description. Our sales are also slow these days but still ads are performing well.

Check listings is listing Amazon has removed buy box button consider that dead! It is very unlikely any item will ever sell on a listing without buy box. Amazon reduces Buy Box removed listings from view of potential shoppers and many once Buy Box is gone do not even show up with exact word searches it is simple dead and you need to decide on moving that items offsite of drastically many time drop prices 50% and Amazon will let it sell again. Remember when everything had buy box and then next 3 sellers how much better it looked and sales but goal is Amazon want all sales and just to use sellers to collect fees!

read up on boycotts for Amazon and other businesses. February 28 is the actual day for boycotts.

Feb 28th was NO BUY anything anywhere. The word is spreading to boycott Amazon because of Bezos support for the orange dictator.

Unless you are selling Prepper supplies, expect a drastic decline in sales. America is a runaway train careening towards disaster.

Prior to the Retail Boycott/Freeze on the 28th. ours slowed down. We're selling a few daily but...
Now sellers must deal w/ the lull in sales that occur during spring breaks-which will run at one week intervals throughout March/early April ( Easter is April 20th) dependent on school districts and area of country plus an Amazon boycott, scheduled March 7-14th.
Several more retail boycotts against Walmart/ Nestle/ Procter & Gamble/ Johnson and Johnson are scheduled. Been informed supporters of these freezes are protesting the dropping of DEI but Amazon still supports it so probably against corporate America. Not to mention tariffs against trading partners Mexico/Canada and a trade war against China. Sigh....!!!
Listen, if sell anything as Americans tighten their belts, we'll be lucky. In my opinion, sellers haven't seen the worst, yet...
