[Attention Needed] My Supplier has FCC Compliance and others but not accepted by Amazon
Hi,
Few days ago I received a Restricted Product Policy violation on one of my ASINs. Amazon asked me to provide ISED Compliance to remove this violation.
I talked with my supplier if they have this compliance or not. I also talked with many other suppliers and they also did not have it.
My supplier has FCC, CE and RoHS Compliances which are accepted globally as compliance. FCC Compliance is same to ISED Compliance, only difference is that FCC is accepted in USA and other countries while ISED is accepted in Canada but FCC is also accepted in Canada.
My supplier also provides same product stock to other sellers in Canada and no seller demanded ISED compliance from them, so they do not have it.
I discussed this matter with two associates of Seller Support Team with Case IDs-(16682275481) and (16681374021). I shared all compliances like FCC, CE and RoHS in the chat and they ensured me that if I provide FCC Compliance and other Compliances like CE and RoHS, these will be accepted by the relevant team as an alternative of ISED and the violation will be removed and listing will have no effect.
I submitted the same documents which I shared to the associates, but they were not approved. I can not understand because no supplier has ISED compliance, everyone uses FCC and others even sellers in Canada use FCC but in my case, they are not accepting it.

FCC is US and Amazon requires CDN certification.

Hello @Seller_iR7eSVGkzoxvA
Thank you for the information provided regarding the issues you have experienced with the ISED request. The FCC ID that you are referring to is applicable to the US market, but for Canada it is required to have the ISED compliance. I did review the case information you provided, and saw the communication between you and our teams.
Furthermore, I did review the information related to the ASIN and did not see it impacted as of now. I wanted to check in with you and see if you were still in need of assistance on this concern.
If so, please provide any updates that you may have received as of now so we may provide continued support.
Best,
Atlas
