Remove Unfulfillable Inventory- This is not fair

I sold an item item 1 month ago.

Some other sellers (this is what I think of) boghbought my product, waited for 1 month, defected it, and returned it after 1 month.

This is radiculous and unfair. How can Amazon let this happen?

My product is a small electronic device. How a customer can defect it anyway..

I am in the USA, and the product is in Canada. What am I supposed to do now...

its too much cost for me if I request it to return to USA...

I am thinking to close my Canada account....how can I keep it if you let the customers (or other sellers) to do it...

you should require certain rules to accept returns, especially for some certain products

Hey @Seller_MlZ3XaOr1Via2,

Sorry to hear about this situation you encountered, just a follow-up question, did the customer respect the 30-day return window?

Only new desktops, laptops, tablets, and other electronics (excluding televisions, Amazon-branded devices and Amazon Renewed products) purchased from Amazon.com that didn't start when they arrived, arrived in damaged condition, or are still in an unopened box can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of delivery.

Any returned product that is damaged through customer misuse, is missing parts, or is in unsellable condition due to customer tampering may result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee based on the condition of the product.

More insight on this topic can be found here:

Guidelines for charging restocking fees

As for the Unfulfillable Inventory part, This inventory must be removed from the FBA network. You may configure your removal preferences using Automated unfulfillable settings. If you do not configure a removal preference, your items will be Disposed at Amazon’s earliest discretion based on capacity, including immediately after returns evaluation.

You can remove unsellable inventory at any time by submitting a removal order. For more information, go to Remove inventory from a fulfillment center.

Items that are immediately removed will be reported in the FBA Customer Returns report. Immediate removals will not be available in the Removal Order Detail Report.

And yes, minor changes to the returns' policy on the seller side could be beneficial, as you can see here on the customer side:

Do let me know if you have any follow up questions regarding this matter.
