Deferred Transaction Information from API

I understand Amazon is now setting the transaction status for all orders to 'Deferred' until after the orders have been delivered. Is there any way to see this information from the SP API?

These transactions don't seem to appear in the financial events or the settlement reports until the status is changed to 'Released'.

I can't answer your API question but I found the transactions in the payment module. Under payments you have to use the drop down to select Deferred Transactions. It takes mine about 2 hours to run....

Not only is Amazon placing orders in "deferred" but they are putting your regular account balance into negative numbers.

By doing this Amazon holds your money longer than the normal 7-days after delivery to buyer. And their is no transparency as we cannot see the deferred invoice(s), see the terms, know when Amazon will actually release OUR money, etc.

Just seems like another Amazon scheme to get rid of 3P sellers by interfering with our cash flow and making it impossible to sustain selling on Amazon. For our business we have semi-insulated ourselves from the beginning when we saw Amazon's underhanded tricks by only listing about 400 products (with the best profit margins) out of our catalog of more than 20,000.

Absolutely ridiculous that there seems to be no way to check this information in the API. A couple of months ago I spent time and money writing a system to process settlement reports so that I could see my deferred amounts, only for Amazon to now hide that information from view completely as "deferred" orders.

Now the only way to check my payment balance is in Seller Central.

Did you find any kind of solution?
