Account Deactivated Don't Know Why and Can't do anything about it!
I received numerous confusing emails from Amazon in regards to my selling account that said my account was deactivated. It appears the deactivation had something to do with my credit card on file. I looked at the credit card on file, everything is up to date and accurate but the account is still not activated. There was some unclear message that said there may be 'something else' causing the deactivation (what I have no idea). Here's the crazy part -- there is apparently NO WAY to reach amazon seller support if your account is deactivated. You CANNOT setup a case file -- because your account is deactivated. So what do you do???

A couple of important things to consider here.
1. Is it a credit card linked to a bank, or is it a debit card? A debit card will not work. Nor will a prepaid credit or debit card.
2. Does your credit card information match the information on your Amazon account EXACTLY?
-That means no abbreviations on one but not on the other. For example John J Smith on one but John Jacob Smith on the other. No Street vs St.
-Is there a comma or period out of place? John J. Smith vs John J Smith.
-Does every capitol letter match exactly 1234 Flower Street while the other says 1234 flower street? Same with your name. You can't have John J Smith on one but john j smith on the other.
3. Have you exceeded your credit card limit?
4. Is your credit card expired?
5. I've also heard that some credit unions do not work but I'm not sure if that was just a glitch.
Everything has to match exactly or Amazon bots will deactivate your account.

Connor from Amazon here, thanks for reaching out.
I do see that the account is deactivated pending account verification. Please follow the steps under your global dashboard so that our partner team can review the account.
