Generic products under brand names

Hi,

I am new to FBA, I read through how Amazon requires a picture of brand or logo to be affixed to product or packing in order to sell as brand. So when I was researching my product to sell, I ordered couple of items from Amazon to check how they are branded, to my surprise there was no logo or trademark on it and i bought it from PL store that has brand registered and had A+ content. How can this possibly be allowed ? Does it mean that brand has been registered and Amazon no longer requires a proof of the products logo and generic products with no logo is allowed to be sold ?

They still require it.

Its possible that this brand has another product with a permanently affixed brand name.

They can submit the brand registry application, submit the other product, and have use of the brand name now.

They can release another product with their, now approved, brand name. Because the brand is now approved, the brand feels its not necessary to place their brand name on their product anymore.

well, people violated laws and people violate policies. Amazon's brand registry is a big pile of boiling s.....

So some smartypants don't want to pay for the branded packaging after the first batch and now that they have brand registry...they just don't care...

They do it till enough customers return the item for "different than described" and Amazon will take it down. But since the most customers are lazy....

Amazon will ding you if you do it and you will have serious problems. If you report other people who are doing it, expect NO response from Amazon if they have good sales.
